I was having a conversation with someone the other day and was explaining that I lived on the coast. They politely responded with a question wanting to know if I lived on the East Coast or West Coast. I advised them that I lived on neither the East Coast nor the West Coast, but firmly was planted on the South Coast. This immediately brought up questions about what the South Coast was and they explained that they did not know that the US had a southern coast.
Hmmm well here is some information on the South Coast as I see it:
It has several states that make up the Southern Coast:
- Florida (Gulf Side)
These states are all located on the Gulf of Mexico and have a laid back Southern style along with real coastal charm. They are all known for a lot of things but are especially popular for their food and culture.
Visit the Southern Coast of the United States if you get a chance. I think you will like the places you find and the memories you create.
