Located on the corner of Beach Blvd. and Main St. in Bay St. Louis, The Blind Tiger is a long-awaited addition to the Old Town restaurant scene, as it is the first restaurant to open its doors on the beach side of Beach Blvd. since Hurricane Katrina. This cool, open-air establishment is everything a beachfront hangout should be…colorful, inviting, and loaded to the brim with fresh Gulf seafood and juicy burgers.
There are two menus posted inside…the ‘usuals’ and the ‘specials.’ You honestly can’t go wrong with either board, but their fried/blackened fish sandwich on the everyday menu seems to be the biggest hit around town.
If you’d like, you can just sit at the bar, have an adult beverage of your choice, and admire the view of the bay out front. I’ve heard from many people that they have the best margarita in town!
Oh, the food! THE FOOD! These Royal Reds are absolutely DIVINE! If you’ve never had one before, you need to head down and try them here. The perfect balance between well seasoned shrimp and lobster, and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. You can find these beauties on their standard menu (thank goodness!)
This little number was off of their specialty menu for the night…it was so fresh, that I’m sure it had to be caught that day…blackened trout, smothered with crab meat remoulade, and a side of grilled asparagus. Need I say more?
So come stop in any day of the week. They are open from 4pm-til Monday & Tuesday, and from 11:30am-til Wednesday-Sunday.
