We recently purchased some corn still in the husks from a local farmer from Kiln Mississippi. The corn was super sweet and fresh picked. I had always heard that the best way to cook corn was on the grill. After numerous failed attempts and half cooked corn, I have discovered the secret of grilled corn on the cob.
Place the entire corn un shucked and uncleaned on the grill. Grill the corn on high heat until the out side burns. As you can see in the picture above. This corn is completely scorched on the outside. On the inside of the husks is steaming well cooked sweet corn. I think grilling is the best way to cook corn. I can't tell you times, but you can see from the pics. It took about 10 minutes or so for the outside of the corn to look charred.
