This morning was going to have the perfect sunrise. I convinced myself to hop out of bed to greet the colors of the day. I loaded up the camera and tripod and headed to Washington Street fishing pier in Old Town Bay St. Louis. The weather was cool and the water was calm. Boaters were using the launch in preparation for the great fishing ahead of dawn. The sun rose displaying a magnificent array of colors.

C & R's Bar & Grill will hold it's 4th Annual Crawfish Cook-Off in Waveland on April 9, 2011. They are located in Downtown Waveland on Coleman Avenue. The cook-off is a Charity Event that C & R's has been doing for the past few years to benefit Hope Haven Children’s Services. There will be live music, a crawfish eating contest, crawfish races, a dunk tank and more. C & R's was the first business to rebuild on Coleman Avenue after Hurricane Katrina and remains the only restaurant/bar on the street. Even with the challenges of keeping their business going in the city after a major diaster, C & R's Bar & Grill still finds it important to give back to the community and the children of Mississippi. Come on out and show your support too!
